“ History means an inquiry into interesting and memorable past events” - Herodotus
The department of History was established in the September 1992 at the beginning of college. The main objective of department establishment is to convey quality education in history to rural students. After the successful establishment later in 1999 - 2000 department offer TYBA course that benefits to students, they will graduated in History in the same college. Department has one full time sanctioned post.
Aims & Objectives :
- To convey quality education in History to rural students.
- To provide and make awareness about history among students.
- To create ideal citizens with brief knowledge of history.
Vision :
- To protect, conserve and deliver the historical knowledge among the students.
- To provide an outstanding skill of history that Creating intelligent and aware citizens through history.
Mission :
- To provide and make awareness about Indian history and culture.
Goals
- To generate importance of history that will incubate research interest in students and ultimately holistic improvement in stakeholder.
